back again! shall update a little now before physically and mentally preparing myself for tomorrow morning's match. sleeping i mean. had this NS medical checkup thing yesterday, which was rather tedious than scary.
our appointment was at 9, but apparently we can come in at 8. but oh wells, who's complaining? first up was blood and urine test. they super efficient. the medical officer say take one bottle and stick, instructions are in the toilet. blood test was less painful than hospital ones, cos i realise at the hospital they stick like half the needle into your arm but there for me they only stick like 1cm into it. hanyang looks like he's gonna faint any moment even before his turn came. now i know they had a very good reason why the urine test should come before the blood test, at least they dun have problems with people peeing in their pants during the blood test. haha and hanyang went to say the medical officer dunno how to draw blood (cos got one person very fat then he keep complaining cannot get the blood) then the MO go say he moron jokingly la.
next was dental. mine was super fast, 1min see my teeth can le. i think junxiong must be never brush his teeth, then he open his mouth the doctor as him sit outside let the smell dissipate haha. i went x-ray, nothing much though but need to stand at a certain posture one. hehe i was wondering if they will come after me if i did a superman posture. sounds fun. but ahem, its a army facility so i rather not do that. eye test was okie. no problem with eyes. haha it is today that i found out that kayhow is a little colourblind. maybe he go check up that day then suddenly got colourblind, wanna run away from NS hahaha. hearing test was very comical but you must make sure u wear your headphones the correct side otherwise your right is left.
the real medical examination was next, the ask you lie down the they put this suction thing on your chest to examine your heart rate or something. then height and weight blah blah. the the doctor will ask you some questions see you got any problem. haha apparently according to junxiong, if the doctor see you like a bit gay then will ask you if you are gay. lucky he never ask me hehe. IQ test was horribly. some was quite challenging and some, to certain standards, rather impossible. they ask you memorise a set of numbers. started out with HDB block numbers, then later handphone numbers, then in the end a number that looked like bill gates monthly earnings. and they only give you 2seconds to remember, which is utterly short. oh well, but the checkup ends here le.
recently a bit mad about one song by diana ross, if we hold on together. yes i know its a old song and please dun tell me its mrs look's favourite song. i rather think of it without the mrs look part.
